Flash Developer
A strong Flash and Action Script Developer is required to be part of a team that designs and builds web based video systems. Proficient in both Flash animation and Action Script 3.0, as well as front end development and integrating with back-end systems, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the presentation layer. 3-5 yrs experience in both Flash and Action Script is necessary and experience with XHTML/DHTML and Java/JSP development is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the design of proposed projects, utilizing professional experience in the development process and provision of alternative solutions
- Participate with other programmers in technical discussions relating to the project
- Maintain close liaison with the interface designers
- Implement and maintain web accessibility standards
- Keep technically abreast of trends and advancements within area of specialization, incorporating these improvements where applicable. Attend appropriate technical conferences
Job Requirements
- Expertise in Flash and Actions Script 3.0.
- Expertise in creating data driven Flash applications.
- Expertise in different Flash and Action Script versions.
- Expertise in Flash and JavaScript interfacing.
- Experience intergrating Flash with different server scripting engines.
- Knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and AJAX desired.
- Knowledge of internet and browser security.
- Knowledge of one or more object oriented languages (e.g. C++ or Java) desired.
Ideal Qualifications
- 3 years with a relevant qualification (computer science, web design) or 5 years work experience without.
- Have previously developed a flash video player.
Web Developer
A strong Web Developer is required to be part of a team that designs and builds web based systems. Proficient in front end development and integrating with back-end systems, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the presentation layer. You will have 3-5 yrs experience in both XHTML/DHTML and Java/JSP development. Experience with open-source technologies and SQL a must.
Key Responsibilities

- Conduct tests to verify the usability, accuracy, and efficiently of developed interfaces

- Knowledge of different view technologies (JSP, JSF/Velocity) required.
- Knowledge and experience with relational database technologies (SQL, schema design) highly desired.

Senior Developer
The Senior Developer will utilise their expertise in Java EE and system architecture to design and develop highly scalable and robust systems. As a senior member of the team, the role will involve providing guidance to other team members, while being integral to all aspects of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Innovate and design technical specifications.
- Participate in the design of projects, utilising professional experience in the development process and provision of alternative solutions.
- Participate with other programmers in, and contribute to, technical discussions relating to the project
- Mentor other developers in the team.
- Participate with project clients in general discussions relating to the project.
- To fully document all written code during the project lifecycle.
- Write and execute unit tests of developed applications.
- Keep technically abreast of trends and advancements within the area of specialisation, incorporating these improvements where applicable. Attend appropriate technical conferences
Job Requirements
- Expertise in relational database technologies (SQL, schema design) required.
- Expertise in Java EE technologies (Servlet, JMS, EJB etc).
- Expertise in OO architecture.
- Expertise in Java web service technologies (XML based APIs, SOAP, etc).
- Good Knowledge of Java application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere).
- Knowledge of XML related technologies (XML, XSLT) required.

Web Designer
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, hands-on, UI Designer with thorough knowledge of web-usability who can synthesise many forms of research, data and business requirements into conversion-producing designs. Will ensure high quality consistent look and feel for the site and uphold the highest design standards in all phases of the projects and will work both independently and collaboratively with team members.
Responsibilities
- Strong communicator with extension web experiences at a lead generation or B2C e-commerce designing web pages and A/B tests
- Gather and organise conversion ideas from sources including product management, customer service, competitive research, industry best practices and internal brainstorming
- Translate these into visual designs ready for testing or implementation
Requirements
- Must be accustomed to developing use cases, scenarios, and personas
- Must be comfortable with writing functional and design specifications
- Experience with user-centered design, A/B test methodologies and technology project management
- Must be able to multi-task
- Proficient with most graphic oriented computer applications such as: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Macromedia Fireworks, Freehand, and Dreamweaver
